Var på Magasinet Neos lunchdebatt idag. Ämnet var Gömda-skandalen och även om diskussionen stundals spårade ur till att bli en intern TV4-debatt mellan reporten Annika Widebeck och hennes chef så var det ändå högst intressant.
Flera av paneldeltagarna påpekade att även om bloggarna varit högst delaktiga i att föra upp nyheten på agendan – Anna Serner gick så långt som att påstå att media tidigare gjort anspråk på sanningen men att bloggarna gör att de inte längre har ensamrätt utan tvingas se saken från flera synvinklar – så har bloggarna också ett ansvar precis som det som så populärt brukar kallas gammelmedia. Och det tycker jag är bra att poängtera då och då.
För lika ofta som bloggare klappar sig för bröstet för sitt journalistiska arbete, lika lätt har de att slå ut med armarna och ropa att de inte är journalister utan bara stackars små privatpersoner utan ansvar. Jag ser det ofta och jag har t o m använt mig av knepet själv vid särskilt trängda tillfällen.
Ska vi spela på lika villkor så medföljer det ett ansvar.
Nå, en liten utvikning, mest apropå den stundtals mycket hätska Gömda-debatt som rått bland bloggare och på nätet i allmänhet.
Ska inte orda mer om debatten eftersom Magasinet Neo bambusrade sändningen så det går att titta på här. Se själva och bilda er en egen uppfattning!
Jag fick ett tips om Filters artikel kring Liza Marklund och Gömda en tid innan tidningen nådde prenumeranter och lösnummerköpare, något jag misstänker att även övriga medier som var tidigt ute fick. För sedan var det tyst i debatten ett ganska lång tag igen. Mina åsikter i ämnet hittar du här. Jag vill dock poängtera att jag verkligen inte anser att Monica Antonsson är den som förstör för utsatta kvinnor. Det skötte Liza så bra själv, om det nu skulle visa sig att Gömda är based on a totally false story. En Boatfs.
Tror vi alla har Filter att tacka för att debatten öht uppstod.
